Tender – Rebuilding of Medium Voltage & Low Voltage Reticulation for Jansenville

The Ikwezi Municipality invites tenders for the rebuilding of medium voltage and low voltage reticulation in Jansenville.

Tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 5EB PE or higher, or 5EP PE or higher.

A compulsory bid meeting will be held at 11:30 on Thursday 11 March 2010. Prospective bidders are to meet at the Council Chambers of the Ikwezi Municipality at the said time, after which the bid meeting will commence.

Tender documents may be collected from the municipal offices in Jansenville from Friday 5 March 2010, after having paid a non-refundable fee of R200,00 (two hundred rands) to the Ikwezi Municipality at the municipal cashiers offices in Jansenville.

Completed Bid Documents, together with all supporting documents and or information must be placed in a sealed envelope and endorsed:

“Tender Proposal: Rebuilding of Medium Voltage and Low Voltage Reticulation in Jansenville”

The sealed envelope containing the completed tender proposals must be placed in the bid box at the offices of the Ikwezi Municipality, situated at 34 Main Street, Jansenville, 6265, not later than 12:00 on Friday 2 April 2010, at which time the bids will be opened in public.

IMPORTANT NOTE TO PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS:

1. The Ikwezi Municipal Supply Chain Management Policy will apply;
2. Adjudication of the tender will be done on the 90/10 principle: 90 points for price and 10 points for HDI.
3. The Ikwezi Municipality reserves the right not to bind itself to accept the lowest bid, or any bid other bid; and reserves the right to accept the whole or any part of the bid submitted;
4. Bids which are late, incomplete, unsigned or submitted by facsimile or electronically, will not be accepted.

The Ikwezi Municipality invites tenders for the upgrading of the Jansenville main sub-station in Jansenville. The project comprises the extension of the existing Jansenville sub-station.

Tenderers should have a CIDB contractor grading designation of 3EB PE or higher, or 3EP PE or higher.

A compulsory bid meeting will be held at 11:30 on Monday 8 March 2010. Prospective bidders are to meet at the Council Chambers of the Ikwezi Municipality at the said time, after which the bid meeting will commence.
